Information
About Buying Birds
Deposits:  We will take a deposit to hold a bird after babies have hatched.  A signed sales agreement and
a deposit of at least one third the sales price is required to hold a bird.  Deposits are encouraged, as babies
are usually spoken for quite young.  All California sales are subject to local
sales tax, unless you have a
valid resale permit.  All birds are sold with a written
health guarantee.

Payment:  We accept personal checks for deposits to hold a bird.
The balance may be paid by cash or Postal Money Order at time
of pick up or shipping.

Picking up your new Baby:  Please remember to bring a safe &
appropriate carrier when you come to pick up your new baby.  If you
are unsure what to bring, please just ask.

References:  References from our customers are gladly provided
upon request.  See
References page.

Sexing:  DNA sexing is available, through Zoogen, for $25 per bird.

Diet:  We wean our babies onto a "live" sprouted diet, pellets, veggies & fruit.

Identification:  Our babies are no longer banded due to injury they can potentially cause.  Microchipping
is available, at customer request, and expense.

Availability:  Babies go to their new homes when they have weaned and eaten on their own for a
minimum of 2 weeks. The welfare of our birds is our first concern.

Health Guarantee:  The health of all our babies is guaranteed in writing.

Shipping:  Nationwide shipping is available from Ontario, California.  Shipping prices vary from one airline
to the next, and by weight/size of shipping crate.  Out of area buyers are encouraged to contact their local
major airport for pricing & flight schedules.  There may be a handling charge under some circumstances,
and there is a charge for the crate (usually under $20).
